Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 July 2026
Gratic is a vector cartography editor that runs in a web browser. By using it, you agree to what's written below. It's short on purpose.
Early access
Gratic is in early access and under active development. It is provided as is, free of charge, with no guarantee of availability, and features may change or be removed. Export your work regularly and keep your own copies — do not treat Gratic as the only place your maps exist.
Your account
You sign in with an email address and a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure. One account is meant for one person; don't share sign-in codes.
Your maps stay yours
You keep all rights to the maps, drawings and files you create or upload. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, process it, and display it back to you and to the people you invite to a project.
What you may not do
- Upload content you have no right to use, including maps and imagery covered by someone else's copyright or licence.
- Use the service to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights.
- Attempt to disrupt the service, gain access to other users' data, or place automated load on it beyond normal use.
Suspension
We may suspend or remove an account that abuses the service or breaks these terms. Where it's practical and lawful, we'll tell you first.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Gratic is not liable for lost work, lost data, lost time or any indirect damages arising from use of the service. This is a free product in early access, and the responsibility for backing up your work rests with you.
Changes
These terms may change as the product grows. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
